Our philosophy: Eastern Sirens’ focus is to grow the sport of synchronised swimming in Victoria and introduce more families to this amazing, but under-recognised, sport.
Eastern Sirens is VOLUNTEER run.
We cater for swimmers in Melbourne's outer eastern suburbs.
Based at Aquanation (the state diving centre) our coaches teach aquatic skills and may develop routines for swimmers in the Showcase and Competition categories.
Synchronised swimming, also known as artistic swimming, is an Olympic sport that combines elements of swimming, dance and gymnastics.
With a focus on strength, grace and flexibility this sport is perfect for those who want more than just swimming.
A VICTORIAN FIRST AT EASTERN SIRENS
Eastern Sirens is dedicated to making synchronised swimming more inclusive.
We have started with offering Adult Synchro classes as a pathway for swimmers to stay in sport past high school and also for those who just want to try something new and different.
Age is never a barrier in the low impact sport of synchronised swimming!
Synchronised swimming is a great way to improve your fitness and flexibility whilst having fun.
GENDER INCLUSIVE CLASSES
Artistic swimming has welcomed men into the sport for the past decade and men have been able to compete internationally since the 2015 World Championships.
Here at the Eastern Sirens, we encourage boys and men of all ages to try out this sport and do something different. Boys and men can join any of our regular sessions and will be included in our normal training and join teams and duets.
