Congratulations to Azin and Charlotte who competed for Eastern Sirens over the past weekend. This was the first ever competition with Eastern Sirens representatives and we were very excited. The girls bravely battled through their nerves and did an outstanding job.
The competition, held at PLC Aquatic, involved swimming four figures in front of the judges. All swimmers wear white caps and black bathers. This is done in order to limit scoring bias by removing any markings of club affiliation.
This may not be the most glam part of synchro, but it is just as important! The final score in a competition comprises 50% figures and 50% routines.
